IRON Corr
Wearable systems, embedded products, lighting, and motion control.
We design the electronics, mechanics, and software, then build a prototype you can hold.
Who we are
IRON Corr is an engineering studio in Utah County, Utah, that designs and builds wearable systems, embedded products, lighting, and motion control. The work covers electronics, mechanics, and software, from a first prototype to a device you can hold.
Studios and product teams hire IRON Corr for rapid prototyping, microcontroller firmware, computer vision, 3D design and printing, and connected devices.
Selected work
A wearable, a performance meter, a motion platform, and a pocket computer.
Advanced Iron Man Helmet
A wearable with a personal assistant, phone calls, and moving panels, packed into a 3D-printed shell.
LIGHTRAIL™ Wireless MIDI Meter
Meters on a wireless mesh that follow MIDI during a performance, without a cable back to the console.
Virtual Production Turntable
A closed-loop drive that holds position for a virtual camera, cued from Unreal over OSC.
A pocket computer that starts with a LilyGO T-Display and a screwless case. KivoOS adds apps, graphics, and multiplayer.
What we build
The same skills show up across the projects: enclosures, firmware, vision, and show control.
Rapid Prototyping
Mechanisms and enclosures, iterated until the part works in your hands.
Microcontroller Programming
Firmware for custom hardware, from a pocket display to a closed-loop motor drive.
Computer Vision
Detection, recognition, and tracking running beside the motors and lights they control.
3D Design
Models drawn to be printed, assembled, and worn or held.
3D Printing
Snap-fit cases and mechanical parts, printed instead of sent to a shop.
IoT Solutions
Sensors, radios, and devices that share a mesh instead of a wired run.
